American Job Center Workshops Help Job Seekers Prepare for Their Next Opportunity

Whether you're entering the workforce, changing careers, or searching for your next opportunity, preparation is one of the most important steps toward landing a new job. Over the coming week, the American Job Center in Crossville is offering two free workshops designed to help job seekers build confidence throughout the hiring process.

On Wednesday, August 6, participants can attend one of two Interview Preparation workshops led by Tammy. The sessions, offered from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. and 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., will cover common interview questions, professional communication, and strategies for making a strong first impression with employers.

The following week, on Monday, August 11, Brenda will lead a Resume Preparation workshop from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Participants will receive practical guidance on creating a professional resume, highlighting transferable skills, and tailoring their experience to the jobs they want.

These workshops are offered free through the American Job Center and supported locally by Workforce Connections. Along with workshops, job seekers have access to career counseling, training opportunities, job search assistance, and connections to employers throughout the Upper Cumberland.

All workshops take place at the American Job Center, 60 Ridley Street, Suite 101, Crossville. To register, call 931-484-7456.

Whether you're preparing for your next interview or updating your resume, these free resources can help you take the next step toward a successful career.
