Tennessee Tech is hosting a free, hands-on Metal Casting Bootcamp from August 11-15, 2025, at Lewis Hall in Cookeville, TN. This immersive training is open to all and is designed to prepare participants for high-demand careers in advanced manufacturing.

Led by industry professionals, the bootcamp covers everything from the basics of casting, forging, and CAD, to pattern making, tooling, heat treatment, and metal testing. Attendees will also gain career guidance, take industry tours, and earn a METAL Training Program certification - opening doors to careers with average salaries around $95,900, including benefits.
