American Job Center to Host Employment Assistance Drop-In with Elijah Andrews

Job seekers across the Upper Cumberland region will have an opportunity to receive personalized employment assistance this month when the American Job Center welcomes Elijah Andrews of the AJC for a drop-in event at the Cookeville Public Library. The session is scheduled for Tuesday January 13 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM and continues weekly on Tuesdays throughout January. It will operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

The event is designed to support individuals at all stages of their job search. Attendees may receive help with resume development, job leads, interview preparation, and navigating the array of services offered through the American Job Center network. These services include free access to career counseling, job search resources, skills assessments, and connections to training opportunities through the statewide Jobs4TN platform.

Workforce Connections encourages anyone seeking meaningful employment, career transition support, or skills development guidance to attend the event. Whether attendees are entering the workforce for the first time, returning after a period away, or pursuing a career change, the drop-in session with Elijah Andrews offers an accessible entry point into a range of resources designed to help individuals make progress in their careers.

The community is invited to take advantage of this free service and to arrive early if possible. No appointment is necessary, and participants will be served in order of arrival.
