American Job center events in February

If you’re looking to polish your resume, sharpen your interview skills, or build confidence navigating online job boards, December brings several great free workshops hosted by the America Job Center in Cookeville. These sessions are open to jobseekers of all backgrounds and experience levels. No matter if you’re new to the workforce, returning after a career break, or re-training for a new path.

This class walks participants through how to use the state’s official job-search portal, apply for open roles, set up professional profiles, and keep track of job applications.

Soft Skills — Tuesday, February 24, 11:00 AM–12:00 PM

This session helps you build communication skills, professionalism, and workplace habits that make a strong impression on employers.
