The Youth Committee is a subgroup of the Local Workforce Development Board chaired by Ms. Amy Profant. It was created to better serve youth across the fourteen counties.  The Youth Committee serves the following purposes:

• Connecting partners from industry to education to develop a strong cohort of passionate individuals to generate conversation and ideas on how to serve youth;

• Coordinating youth special activities and programs in a local area;

• Developing portions of the local plan related to eligible youth, as determined by the chairperson of the Local Board;

• Carrying out other duties, as authorized by the chairperson of the Local Board.
