Ready, Set, Hired! Two-Day Workshop Series at Putnam County Library

The American Job Center is teaming up with the Putnam County Library (Cookeville Branch) to host a two-day mini-workshop series designed to get job seekers ready to land their next opportunity. The Ready, Set, Hired! program will take place on Wednesday, September 24, and Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM.

This series will cover two of the most important aspects of job readiness. On Day 1, participants will learn tips and strategies for creating or updating a professional resume that highlights their skills and experience. On Day 2, the focus shifts to interview preparation, with practical exercises and feedback to help attendees sharpen their communication and presentation skills.

Whether you need to refresh your resume or build confidence for your next interview, this workshop is a great opportunity to gain practical, hands-on guidance in a supportive environment. The sessions will be held at the Putnam County Library, 50 East Broad St., Cookeville, TN 38501.
