Durable Products Expansion to Bring 134 New Jobs to Crossville

A major manufacturing expansion is set to bring significant economic growth to Cumberland County as Durable Products, a subsidiary of GreenLiner, LLC, announced plans to expand operations in Crossville.

The company will invest $27.3 million into the project and create 134 new jobs, making it one of the most significant job creation announcements in the Upper Cumberland so far in 2026.

According to state officials, Durable Products will renovate an existing Crossville facility to accommodate expanded manufacturing capabilities, including new machinery, warehousing space, and office operations. The investment reflects continued confidence in Cumberland County’s workforce and infrastructure as manufacturers increasingly look to rural communities for expansion opportunities.

Manufacturing remains one of Tennessee’s strongest economic sectors, and this announcement reinforces the Upper Cumberland’s position as a growing hub for industrial development. New jobs created through the expansion are expected to provide opportunities for individuals seeking careers in production, logistics, operations, and skilled manufacturing support roles.

Large-scale investments like this not only strengthen local employment opportunities but also create ripple effects throughout the regional economy by supporting suppliers, contractors, and service businesses connected to manufacturing growth.

As workforce demand increases alongside industrial expansion, local workforce development partners will continue working to ensure residents are prepared to meet employer needs through training, hiring events, and career readiness initiatives.
